Verdict

PRICELESS ART has already won three bumper races this season and takes a big drop in class after contesting a Grade 2 at Kelso earlier this month. He hasn't looked a natural jumper of hurdles so far and might not represent much of the way of value but still looks the one to beat. Bocciani has won handicaps here and at Catterick on his last two starts but faces a stiff task here under a double penalty, while neither Provost not stablemate City Ground showed enough on their respective debuts to suggest they'll be winning soon. Phantom Serenade has won twice on the Flat but fellow newcomer Wadnaan may have more scope for improvement and is preferred of that pair today.
