In depth
Verdict
Mocha, Saintly Lady and Lesanda catch the eye in this tricky bumper, and with doubts about the value of the form boasted by those runners with experience, the well bred MOCHA is taken to make a winning bow. Saintly Lady took up the running fully half a mile out at Hereford on her debut and she kept on well to score. The form of that win is yet to work out, and a penalty may be enough to stop her. Lesanda showed some improvement from her debut to be a decent fourth last time, but that form too looks weak, and she looks ordinary. Mocha, out of a dam who is a half-sister to the top class Azertyuiop is by a sire whose progeny stay, and in what looks a humdrum affair, the market should be heeded to help assess her chance. In any event, she would not need to be brilliant to score, and Mocha can send the punters home with a nice price winner.
