Cheltenam De Vaige goes for the hat-trick. He is penalised for a second success at Newton Abbot eight days ago but still theoretically well treated as he’s due to go up another 10lb next week. However, we prefer BROTHERLY COMPANY as he looked an entirely different proposition having a first run for Sandy Thomson at Southwell and may well be capable of further improvement. Elle Est Grande was prominent for a long way at Cartmel and dropping back in trip should help the mare while it would be no surprise if Tikerty Tok proved a better chaser than hurdler.
