Verdict
Warminghamsharpish is taken to beat Super Lucky in what looks a virtual match in the opening event on the card. Mark Brisbourne has his team in good order both on the Flat and over jumps and Warminghamsharpish should benefit from that fact despite an absence of 74 days. A bumper winner at Ludlow last October, the mare was produced fit and ready to open her account over hurdles on a return to the Shropshire track in May, bouncing off the fast ground in the process. With conditions in her favour at present, she is taken to hold the Irish raider Super Lucky, a winner at Perth last month for Jimmy Lambe. That was a moderate event by all accounts, but she is sure to be given a positive ride again by Richard Johnson, and should comfortably hold the only other serious rival, Skiddaw Rose on Perth running. The rest are up against it and unless a deluge of rain changes the going to soft, Warminghamsharpish should get favourite backers off the mark.
