In depth
Verdict
A weak but tricky contest in which it may pay to side with Milan King ahead of the likes of In Good Faith and Beasley. Three of Milan King's four career wins have come at Sedgefield, although the latest was nearly three years ago, since when he has been finding it tough in this sort of company. The handicapper has started to relent of late and he is now on a mark nearly two stone lower than when last victorious. His latest efforts were certainly nothing to write home about but then the opposition are nothing special either. In Good Faith is another who had tumbled in the weights before his Cartmel success, but he has since crept back up the handicap. Beasley is very moderate and the fact that he is round about third best in the betting indicates how bad this contest is. With that in mind Milan King can come out best of a bad bunch.
