In depth

Verdict

College City gets a tentative vote over the likes of Tiralleur, Friedhelmo and Power And Demand. College City gained his last success over fences in October 2005, and has slipped down the weights of late. The Richard Guest inmate ran his best race for some time when a close second in a similar contest to this at Cartmel over the weekend, and if suitably recovered, must be in the shake-up. Tirailleur, a Banded winner on the Flat, was put in her place in a mares' only event at Uttoxeter in July, finishing a distant second, but this drop in grade should help, while Friedhelmo has a light enough weight but is well exposed these days. The same comment applies to Power And Demand, and with the market the only guide to the chances of the rest, we are happy to rely on College City as the answer.
