Verdict

WILD SAM may have got first run on Gris De Pron when beating that rival a length-and-a-half at Market Rasen. The latter is now 2lb better off but hard to win with so Iain Jardine’s top weight is fancied to confirm the form and complete a quick double. Mrs Davies is still a maiden but has shown enough to suggests he could win a race like this whereas Pads is now 0-29 under Rules and has failed to take advantage of a slide down the weights.
