Verdict

Recent winners DESERT POINT and Something Brewing are likely to be thereabouts in this. The former carries a 7lb penalty for his Southwell success whereas the latter has only been raised 4lb after coming with a late burst to beat a decent field over this trip at Bangor but Keith Dalgleish’s gelding has the greater scope for improvement. Prince Khurram has already won twice here and is on a fair mark so can’t be ignored while Placedela Concorde has been quite highly tried in handicaps so far.
