In depth

Verdict

Family Venture is the confident selection here with Timberley and Khan Kicker the others worthy of consideration. The gelding from the Ferdy Murphy yard ran well behind Major Drive at Musselburgh last time and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here. Timberley rates the main danger as he has shown ability in point-to-point races and is from a small but shrewd yard. He will be very interesting if he is supported in the market. Khan Kicker is the other worth considering and he was a fair third behind Danimas at Musselburgh last time, so will not be too far away at the finish. The rest look outclassed, so we are happy to side with Family Venture.
