In depth
Verdict
Comfortable Call can confirm superiority with Lord of The Loch and should also be too good for the inconsistent Bergamo. Tony Dobbin takes the mount on the recent Wetherby winner and while his recent form suggests that Sedgefield is far from ideal; he showed enough to suggest that he will be too good for this bunch. Lord Of The Loch is a recent winner round here and while he rarely posts a poor run, he is always vulnerable to lesser exposed rivals. Bergamo has ability but his flashes of brilliance are often outweighed by a series of modest efforts when the chips are down. Al Mabrook is dropped into selling grade after a series of decent efforts over shorter trips. Quarter Masters has been highly tried in the past but does not look to have gone on from his win at Ayr two years ago. Comfortable Call gets the verdict in this valuable and highly competitive seller.
