In depth

Verdict

Miniballist showed improved form at Southwell in a similar contest last time and should be thereabouts again but a better bet looks to be Litron, with Nifty Roy rated the best of the remainder. The selection has been given a break since disappointing over fences at Hexham when last seen in June and looks to be feasibly well treated for his shrewd connections on his return to hurdling. Thepubhorse is consistent but looks booked for a place at best, while Quizzical needs to improve on recent evidence to trouble the judge. Nobodysgonanotice looks the clear second string behind the selection and of more interest may be Nifty Roy, who has the assistance of Tony Dobbin and first time blinkers. Litron holds solid claims on the pick of his hurdling form though and he gets the vote to resume winning ways.
