Verdict

An interesting staying handicap hurdle where Intersky Music looks good enough to follow up his recent success, with Alpha Juliet, Queen Of Diamonds and Lazy Lena others on the short list. Jonjo O'Neill-trained Intersky Music won a novices' handicap contest at Bangor a shade cosily last time and is due to go up 6lb this weekend. He carries a penalty here anyway, but Tony Dobbin is the booking of serious connections and he looks good enough to follow up. Alpha Juliet has been around various trips here on each of her last five starts and although she has not won she has run creditably in defeat on occasions, not least when behind Dead Man's Dante last time. With that one running earlier on the card we will have an idea how the form has held up. Queen Of Diamonds is a moderate filly who will have to improve to win this, but can get competitive, while Lazy Lena looks more interesting as a previous distance winner, though she is not in red hot form at present and we are happy to side with Intersky Music, who looks to have been found a good opportunity.
