In depth
Verdict
A particularly poor contest with some disappointing and exposed types in opposition with the notable exception of Magical Day. The daughter of Halling appears to be progressing with experience and had Limbo Lad behind when a close second in a claimer at Taunton earlier in the month. There should be more to come from Bill Turner's charge who can confirm the form on 9lb better terms. Executive Choice has been disappointing but has tumbled in the weights and showed signs of a recovery last time but Nichol Fifty is likely to find this an insufficient test and Happy Days remains a maiden having had plenty of chances.
