Verdict

Kardyls Hope produced her best effort for some time under Seamus Heffernan at Galway last week when around 3l behind the useful Smart Striking. She can continue on the upgrade while Thats A Fret has really struck form in recent weeks and improved again to beat Tsar Paul at the Curragh. Liam McAteer's charge has a 9lbs rise to contend with but cannot be ruled out while going so well. Jumbo Steps was having his first start of the season when almost making all in a maiden at Naas last month and can make his presence felt with that under his belt but this can go to CAPE VALE, who has taken his time to reach peak form since joining Kevin Prendergast from David Nicholls but bounced back to something like his best behind Little Arrows at the Curragh last month.
