Solar Heat earned some prize money in Pattern-race company in the spring and a run on the Flat a fortnight ago will have put him spot-on. Cantkidakidder is 0-12 over fences and is tried in a visor while Kilderry Prince is inconsistent, following a victory at Tipperary with a poor run at Tramore. Friary Gold started favourite for that latter race but had breathing problems and may be best watched. GOLD SUN has fallen in his last two starts but looked the likely winner when coming to grief at Wexford last time. Garrai Phaidan and Clear Left occupied the minor places that day but if Robert Tyner's charge manages to get round he should gain compensation.
