Luddenmore is proving very consistent and certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn here. His lack of pace will always make him vulnerable, however, so BLUE RIDGE LANE gets the vote. John McConnell's five-year-old was placed over hurdles at Clonmel and Gowran in the autumn and has been in good form on the all-weather at Dundalk lately. Shady Pines was third over C&D at the start of the month having filled the same position behind Domination at Clonmel on her previous start but this trip may be on the sharp side for Whisky Galore, though he may still prove the pick of the remainder as none of the newcomers make much appeal on breeding.
