In depth

Verdict

It's hardly surprising that Gordon Elliott is bringing out POORMANS HILL with just a 4lb penalty for Friday's facile victory at Downpatrick where he started odds-on and had any amount in hand at the finish. He's impossible to oppose as he's very unlikely to be on this sort of mark again. Dr Moloney at last got his jumping act together at Hexham but a career strike-rate over fences of 0-17 tells its own story. Mic Milano has ben racing over hurdles but is 8lb higher over fences despite only reaching a place once while the hunter Island Master looks extremely unlikely to concede weight to the selection. Who's Cross hasn't been in bad form over timber but has failed to reach a place in four starts over fences.
