Verdict
DORKAS (NAP) comfortably held off today's rival Doolough Lad over the course and distance last month and would have followed up at Tramore but for a last-fence fall. He found 2m2f too sharp at Galway last week and though 7lb worse off with Doolough Lad can confirm the form and return to winning ways. Willow Grange also has a victory over the track and trip to his credit but that was his only victory in 51 career starts. Gibbstown has won five times over fences but ran very poorly on his return to action at Ballinrobe last week and may need another run to put him straight. The last remark also applies to Routes Choice and Flatfoot Boogie, who return after a break.
