Verdict
This looks a wide-open handicap over the mile with plenty of these runners in form but with a solid form line behind her we marginally prefer MISS GLITTERS ahead of fellow course specialists Nightjar and McConnell. This will be a step up in class for the selection but he's very much in form having followed a course and distance win off a handy mark by just missing out on a follow-up again here over this trip last time. He easily held a cosy subsequent winner that day so with the form looking strong he should run a big race. Nightjar is more akin to this standard of opposition and as a really good record here. He's run well in defeat off this sort of rating the last twice and this looks easier. McConnell is another who has a strong record at this venue, winning three times from six starts. He bounced back to form in a claimer last time but has plenty more to do now back handicapping. Former course winner Flores Sea might by value for place claims off bottom weight but in a really good contest Miss Glitters is preferred.
