Verdict

Just the five runners rock up for this six-furlong handicap and it looks a good opportunity for FLOW CHART to follow up on his course and distance success last time with Sweet Child O'mine dropped to a sprint trip for the first time while Mark Johnston took this race last year and you can be sure his Love Delta will be well prepared. A switch to this surface was the key for the pick last time as he left his turf form behind to score with plenty in hand last week. Based on that he looks well treated under a six-pound penalty so if the penny has finally dropped he looks hard to oppose. Sweet Child O'mine sprung a surprise on debut when winning here over a mile at odds of 100/1. She failed to build on that at Wolverhampton last time and she might be best watched now dropped to this test. Love Delta runs on the Fibresand for the first time but seemed to handle soft ground on debut and on the pick of his maiden efforts he looks fairly treated Blue Neptune has been consistent in recent starts but will need to improve to beat the pick.
