Verdict
FINE WINE (NAP) is at the top of his game having won a conditions race at Newcastle last time and landing a handicap over track and trip before that with Alligator Alley back in third. The latter has subsequently recorded a double and accounted for both Bedford Flyer and Venturous in the process. The Bell Conductor has been winning lower grade sprints though is still preferred to Tolstoy and Mondammej but King Of Bavaria can’t be easily dismissed having been gelded and undergoing wind surgery since switching from Ballydoyle to Mick Appleby’s yard.
