In depth

Verdict

This looks like quite a tight handicap and we will side with IMPERIAL SKYLIGHT to get the better of Dancing Wave and Jack's House. Mick Channon's 3-year-old has gone close on each of his last three starts. He chased home Aint Talkin at Lingfield last time, but the front pair came a little way clear of the rest that day and he can finally get his head in front at the 17th time of asking. Dancing Wave beat Glan Lady when last seen out so if Glan Lady goes well in the 2.50 race then that will give the form a big boost. Jack's House finished behind Hawkspring on his last run, so again the form could be given a boost earlier on the card. However, he does give the impression that he is better over slightly further than this. Captain Cavendish is another who is arguably better over slightly further and we will stick with Imperial Skylight as our choice to land the prize.
