In depth

Verdict

This looks a match between Caerphilly Gal and Jacks Delight and the confident vote is given to Caerphilly Gal. The selection won with a shade in hand when beating Mister Clinton last time out and although she has a penalty for that win this looks easier and from a good draw she is taken to win again. Jacks Delight rates the main danger on his latest second behind Boanerges but that was over a shorter trip and this longer distance looks against him. Lizzie Rocket has shown glimmers of ability and has definite place claims on her best form but is far from consistent and can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Roan Raider is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but in a race that contains plenty of deadwood for the winner we return to Caerphilly Gal.
