Verdict
EL DIEGO rates the pick to get the better of Euroceleb with the remainder having shown little to get excited about although Whiston Pat could conceivably improve for this longer trip. The selection finished a length and a half behind Euroceleb when the pair clashed at Lingfield in November when the filly was in receipt of 11lbs. The Gask trained runner has since shown improved form when not beaten far into fifth in a fourteen furlong handicap at this track and he's been found a decent opening. Since that run in November, Euroceleb has also run quite well on her handicap bow at Great Leighs. She hasn't always impressed with her head carriage though and has to prove herself on this surface but on the flipside her trainer does have an impressive record here. Wing Stealth is worth a look on debut for a new yard whilst Whiston Pat is bred for this sort of trip but it's difficult to look beyond the two principals with El Diego our choice.
