    Verdict

GALWAY JACK scored over C&D in soft ground last month and looks capable of following up in similar conditions today. He's 8lb higher but should take care of main rival Atherstone Hill as the latter's previously progressive form has shown signs of faltering since he won at Warwick in November. Daldini has slipped a few pounds down the weights and may get involved while Salut Honore would come into it if the ground turned heavy. But Maraafeq and Sandhurst are struggling for their best form at present and are harder to fancy.
