      Verdict

      In a weak maiden with little worthwhile form to go on, Sangreal gets the tentative vote ahead of The Geester. The selection was last seen finishing a three lengths fifth to Teasing over six furlongs at Wolverhampton. However, he is better than that bare form as he was forced to race wide that day and dropping back in trip today he could be hard to peg back. The Geester showed improved form when finishing third to The Italian Job over this course and distance three weeks ago. He appreciated the drop back to five furlongs that day and wasn't helped by being drawn away from the winner. The rest appear very ordinary indeed, although Catlivius would have a good chance on her maiden form over the trip. Zadella comes over from Ireland and should be watched closely in the betting, however for the winner Sangreal is our token choice.
