In depth
Verdict
Quite a competitive seller with six course winners in opposition. Tuscarora, who ruined her chance last time by missing the break, was then claimed for ¿3,000. Now with Tony Carroll, she doesn't have much to find to be competitive in this. After missing a year, Pure Coincidence looks some way below his best, but he cannot be out of calculations at this level, while Nod's Nephew has something to prove now after flopping badly last time. Larky's Lob comes here in good form and must have every chance on these terms, but the vote goes to Blushing Spur, who bounced back to form at Wolverhampton over the weekend. His stable are on fire at present, having turned out four winners in the last week and the selection, who is a big long striding horse, will be much better suited to this galloping track, rather than the turns of Dunstall Park.
