In depth
Verdict
Not a strong race to get the card underway and Ask Me What looks to have a fine opportunity to make a winning debut over timber. The winner of a bumper on heavy ground at Folkestone, the testing conditions will hold no fears for her here. Joyeuse will need to settle better in this if she is to last home, while All Honey doesn't look up to winning a novice event. Southdown House, who was a long way behind the selection on her debut, is open to improvement and is one to keep an eye, as is Shrilanka, who will be much better suited to this stiffer track, having found Ludlow too sharp last time.
