In depth

Verdict

Although there are plenty of runners, it is a race that lacks quality. Drama King is useful at this level and with his ability to handle underfoot conditions, he will be a threat to all. Outclassed behind Just In Time on his latest outing, No Mercy would have a chance if he could reproduce his effort at Plumpton when beaten by Lady Jeannie, on ground similar to todays. This is the first time he has contested a seller over timber and he is a tentative choice to win an uninspiring contest. Anns Girl has gone a long time without winning, but she isn't out of this if returning to anywhere near her best.
