        Verdict

        This looks a hot little contest despite there being only one winner in the field. Tardar was an effortless winner here back in December and is sure to make a bold bid to defy his penalty, but he faces a classy rival here in Zilarator. Philip Hobbs' gelding was a decent handicapper on the flat and he has done nothing wrong in his two outings to date over hurdles. His last effort behind Supreme Toss was made to look much better after the weekend, when that horse went on to be a wide margin winner at Uttoxeter. This looks an easier contest and he is taken to make the most of the weight he receives off Tardar. Stablemate Saby may do better when he goes handicapping, while the French import Ilabon will have to be above average if he is to win this.
