Verdict
Bahamian Bay hit winning form last week and can go in again this afternoon, Wolfman and Mount Royale are also expected to run well. Mel Brittain has had a bit of lean time of it recently and Bahamian Bay must have been a welcome tonic. He came through with a smooth run to get the better of the consistent Boarnerges and with improvement likely he looks the best option this afternoon. Wolfman is the dark horse in the line up. He is very nicely bred and has shown ability in his three runs to date. He hails from a very shrewd yard so any market move should be heeded. Mount Royale hasn't been out of the first four in his last seven races and it will be difficult to keep this one out of the frame. Of the others Penel can be given an each-way squeak on the best of his form, but Bahamian Bay should be capable of landing back to back victories.
