    Verdict

STAND GUARD was closely matched at the weights with the eventual winner Back Burner over 1m3f here last time. This should prove slightly easier for John Butler's charge as he looks to extend a record-breaking tally of 26 wins on the all-weather. Omnipresent has a shout on today's terms dropped in class for his Fibresand debut while Noguchi is at his best in plating races and scored over 2m at the track in February. Dynastic landed an amateurs' race over 1m6f here last time while Rock Of Ages scored over the same trip at the end of last year but both have plenty to find with the likely favourite.
