Verdict
A poor handicap where Ride A White Swan is a tentative suggestion to get the better fo Mr Fantozzi, Spectrana and Cheeky Chilli. The selection may be able to find more for the step up to a mile for the first time here, and handles the surface well enough on his only try thus far. There is no problem with the form of Karl Burke's runners, so he is the suggestion. Mr Fantozzi has been threatening to run a big race but not yet delivered. Today might be the day, but he has to prove he handles the conditions here so we will oppose. Spectrana drops back to a mile after being well beaten over further and while that is a positive, her current mark looks a bit steep. Cheeky Chilli runs from a mark of 65 for her handicap debut and whilst that mark is none-too-taxing, she has to prove she handles the surface and we'd rather see how she performs in this sphere before taking the plunge. Double On Red and Little Toto revert to this trip and if they can produe their best then they are not out of it, but preference is for Ride A White Swan.
