COMMODORE BARRY completed a double when scoring over the course and distance in October then ran very well over shorter at Worcester where he wasn't beaten far when conceding 13lb to the winner. He has to give away plenty of weight here but should have few problems doing so. Notachance started favourite for his hurdling debut at Bangor last month but was beaten 17l into second after a poor round of jumping while Gonalston Cloud, the winner of five point-to-points and the same number of chases, will do better when back over the bigger obstacles. Royal Reef won four times on the all-weather back in 2016 but hasn't run since September of that year and makes his hurdling debut.
