Verdict

BOOKIEBASHER BABE can defy a six pound penalty to win this fillies handicap with both Lady Brora and Diamond Lass worth noting. The selection has the penalty for winning over course and distance last time out. She has clearly come to her best over the past month or so while the weather has been mild and we feel there is still more to come. If she repeats her recent form she will be difficult to oppose. Lady Brora broke her maiden tag at Great Leighs last August and has only been lightly raced since then. She ran well to finish third on her seasonal reappearance and will be a lot sharper this time around so any market moves should be noted. Diamond Lass came back from a lengthy spell on the side lines to finish third of ten behind Turn Me On at Thirsk last time out and she is entitled to benefit for the outing.
