Verdict

PERGAMON is the form pick to break his maiden tag while both Birdinthehand and Ostaai are worth noting in the betting market. The selection ran well in two maidens last summer and was no match for Nehaan in the valuable Timeform Trophy at Newmarkets Craven meeting last month. He was not discredited by any means and he should be able to win a race of this nature with his head in his chest if all goes to plan. Birdinthehand is an interesting newcomer from the Henry Cecil yard. She is by Nayef and out of a successful mare so is worth noting for any market support. Ostaai finished mid division in an above average maiden at Newmarket last month and will fair better against this company.
