Verdict
Batakiya was an eye-catcher on her debut and should take the beating here. Twilight Bell and Suite Francaise have shown little to date, so newcomer Bohobe may be the one to give the selection the most to do. Bohobe hails from a yard in cracking form just now and, as a half-sister to several spring winners, the daughter of Noverre should have very few problems with the trip. However, Batakiya, who is related to top-class performers in Argentina, is something of a stand out in this company. She was just touched off by a very highly regarded type of Jeremy Noseda's at Lingfield in May - creating the impression that a maiden would be a formality for her. This appears to be a good bit of placement by her trainer, John Gosden, and his filly is expected to get off the mark without too much fuss.
