Verdict

Hughie Morrison is striking while the iron is red-hot with the veteran Cousin Khee, who completed a double over the extended 2m2f here with a very easy victory in a better race than this on Sunday. He may not be quite as effective over this trip nowadays but a 6lb penalty seems unlikely to prevent another bold bid. KATIE GALE was beaten just over three lengths in the first of those races but was conceding 6lb and will be receiving 4lb with jockey claims taken into consideration. She's also better over this shorter trip so looks to have every chance of gaining her eighth career success. Samtu, who won this last year, carried a big weight to victory over the course and distance in January and would be a threat in that kind of form while Brigadoon is back on the same mark as when last successful over the track and trip a year ago.
