BRIDEY’S LETTUCE came up short when favourite over 1m2f at Newcastle last time but had earlier finished runner-up over track and trip when a street clear of the rest - he gets another chance to finally open his account. Sattelac never looked like catching the winner when third here last time but Deep Resolve scored over 1m3f at the track last year and can race off the same mark today. Tasty Ginger has a shout if taking to the surface and handicap debutant Brahma is worth noting on his return to action given his trainer’s good strike rate at this venue.
