A four-time course and distance winner, FORTINBRASS recorded his latest success here in January. He was beaten over 7f at the track last time but has never won over the latter trip and should make another bold bid in this. Narrowly beaten at Chelmsford recently, Excellent Aim acts on this surface while Borough Boy is a course and distance winner and will take advantage of a slide down the weights before long. Wimboldsley won a Class 7 contest here with Cadeaux Pearl behind but both found the selection too good subsequently.
