Verdict
Beyond Infinity may have placed here in both outings so far but was still well beaten behind Mehmento when second last time. Archie Watson trains the latter and runs ARCTIC EMPEROR, who wasn’t disgraced in a decent novices race at York on last year’s debut. It was soft going on that occasion and a chance is taken he handles the surface. Kehailaan also debuts at the track having run well in a couple of races at Newcastle and has every chance while Sean Woods sent out a winner here last week and Khufu debuts for the yard. Special Directory is a US-bred newcomer worth noting along with Thunderclap, a half-brother to five winners.
