Verdict

One Hart finished well ahead of Batchelor Boy when scoring at Wolverhampton but struggled off today’s higher mark last time while Little Boy Blue was still well beaten when third here, though finished in front of Zylan. Both the latter and Excessable won over track and trip earlier in the year and THRAVE was successful over a mile at the track in January. Mick Appleby’s charge has also won over course and distance in the past and gets the vote given Oisin Murphy has a good strike-rate riding for the yard. Fine Wine debuts for Scott Dixon’s local stable though is hard to assess on last summer’s double in France.
