Eagleway and Barney's Bay are the only course winners though neither have been in the best of form. Desert Land has scored on his last two visits to Newcastle and has a penalty for last week's narrow victory while the three-year-old Buckshaw Village was having his first all-weather start when scoring with a bit in hand at Lingfield. Brunel Charm, a winner on the latter track in June, has continued to run well on Polytrack but STREET KID is taken to defy top weight. A dual winner at Wolverhampton last autumn, he reappeared after a long break to finish runner-up at Lingfield last month where he was only headed in the closing stages.
