In depth

Verdict

Badri is in excellent form having won here and at Newcastle in the last few weeks though an 8lb rise makes this more difficult and Ava Go Joe, just under three lengths behind him here last time, can get closer. Tommy De Vito won a Class 2 handicap here in January and scored again at Windsor with Zero Carbon well beaten though was ridden by a 7lb claimer last time and is 4lb higher so faces a very stiff task. The three-year-old WATCHYA gets the nod in a tricky event as he has won three of his last five,, including a victory at Wolverhampton, though King Of Tonga arrives in top form having won twice over shorter at Chester recently though he's only run twice on the all-weather. The Lamplighter, beaten a head at Goodwood in July, missed a race back there on Tuesday for this and has to be respected. Tyger Bay was engaged in the 1.50 at Doncaster yesterday.
