Spring Romance missed out on a hat-trick here a couple of days ago having earlier won over track and trip. He still carries a penalty but GORGEOUS GENERAL has gone close over course and distance the last twice now and with today’s amateur claiming a 5lb allowance, gets the vote to go one better. Mo Henry is partnered by a leading amateur on his Fibresand debut while Letmestopyouthere placed in one of these events over 7f on his last visit to the track and George Thomas has been thereabouts over 5f recently.
