        Verdict

        A competitive event to close the day, with the in-form Arpeggio attempting to follow up his recent win over course and distance. He claimed a valuable scalp that day in Flying Treaty, and although the latter may have been feeling the effects of a busy time, that was still a decent effort as the third Brandy Cove was five lengths away and Pup's Pride was the same distance further back. He clearly has nothing to fear from either of that pair on these revised terms and is the selection to defy his penalty. Using Flying Treaty as a yardstick, he also holds both Starbeck and Exclusive Air. Basinet may need this after a break and a bigger threat could be Eurolink Artemis, who was runner-up to Creskeld on his only previous visit here back in November and can actually run off a 1lb lower mark.
