      Verdict

      It's A Love Thing went close over a longer trip at Lingfield on his handicap debut while Newcastle winner Global Vision is not without a chance. Driftwood has finished runner-up here the last twice and was well ahead of stablemate Waltzing earlier but a chance is taken on another handicap debutante in ANDALASKA BEAR. The latter was no match for an odds-on favourite over 6f here last time but it was still an improved effort and further progress is expected over this longer trip.
