In depth
Verdict
Royal Sands won a maiden over 6f here recently but was well beaten in a handicap before that. Requited also scored over 6f here last month though has won over course and distance in the past and SAMOVAR is at his best here. Four times a winner over track and trip, Scott Dixon’s charge remains on a winning mark despite a recent success and is preferred to stablemate Ebitda. Zapper Cass will need to step up on previous efforts on the Fibresand while Eternal Sun hasn’t raced since May and Private Matter has undergone wind surgery since last in action and also gets a change of headgear today.
