Verdict
Power To Burn, Emperor Cat and Dulce De Leche are three against the field in this poor contest and the tentative vote goes to Emperor Cat. The gelding from the in-form Paul Blockley yard runs well fresh and a reproduction of his latest fifth behind Granstone should suffice in this moderate affair. Power To Burn showed improved form in a first-time visor to be third behind Vampire Queen last time and if it has the same effect again he would have definite place claims. The topweight Dulce De Leche is another that could go well as he was a fair sixth behind Adantino last time and the drop to six furlongs may well suit him. Of the remainder, Nanna was a fair second behind Emaradia last time, but that was at Wolverhampton and his runs here at Southwell before have been very disappointing, so for the winner we return to Emperor Cat.
