        Verdict

        In what is another fairly tight affair, the winning answer could come from Brut who gets the call ahead of Saucepot, Gypsy Fair, Majestical and Straffan. Brut was a fair third to Orpen Wide last time and, dropped to five furlongs from the six of that day, is one to pay some heed to on this occasion, even though both he, Saucepot and Gypsy Fair are very closely weighted if working on formlines using Orpen Wide. Majestical showed good improvement to win at Wolverhampton last time in first-time cheekpieces and, even though he has been raised seven pounds for that win, can go well again. He also looks the stronger of the two Milton Bradley entries. In her bid for a straight hat-trick of wins, Straffan is clearly in good heart and is another to warrant respect, while Cerebus won her maiden here and looks fairly weighted on a mark of 65, and Ben Casey was staying on here last time after a slow start but now, possibly surprisingly, drops in trip. However, the drop in trip might prove the key here for Brut, who is a hopeful choice.
